Speaker : Alexander Osterwalder, The Inventor of Business Model Canvas.
Business models, innovation, value proposition - these are the fundamental elements of life if you are a startup or a large organization focused on innovation and trying to figure out new ways to evolve your business especially in this world that is becoming increasingly digital. Having these values alone are not sufficient, hence, we need to extensively quantify and be able to measure the result.
Join Alexander Osterwalder, “the business model king of the world” and the creator of Business Model Canvas, in an interactive Innovation Matrix workshop which is 'First-in-Asia' and is also his new book that’s set to launch in 2019! Alex will share insights into the four key performance indicators (KPIs) you need to know in order to track the level of innovation for your project’s performance.

Speakers : Linda Yates, Founder, CEO, MACH49, and Paul Holland, General Partner, Foundation Capital
When launching new ventures from within, corporates must find deep customer pain, marry it with the art of the possible in terms of technology and trends in order to discover product-market fit, all while negotiating the orthodoxies and antibodies of the mothership to ensure their new venture could reach escape velocity. In this workshop, Linda Yates and Paul Holland will help you design a world-class corporate venture unit — augmenting the capabilities of your existing talent and providing our experience, expertise, real-time knowledge, network, and deep ecosystem access to raise your visibility, build credibility, and bring you inside Silicon Valley’s “walled garden” to ensure success.

Speaker : Yu-Kai Chou. the Creator of Octalysis Framework
Why are there so many things we know we should do like healthcare, training, education, exercises, but we don’t spend a lot of time on those activities? Yet, we spend a lot of time on games that have no purpose - some people spend up to 6 or 7 hours a day on games like poker, mahjong, and online games. If only we could learn from why games are so engaging and bring those elements into things that are meaningful, then the world will be a better place. Gamification is the process of applying all the fun and exciting elements within games into non-game or boring context, things that you have to do but not necessarily the things you want to do.
Brought to you by Yu-Kai Chou, the creator of Octalysis framework, this workshop is all about gamification and how to break down motivation and the “8 core drives”. The framework is on behavioural change and behavioural design. At the center of gamification, he calls it “human-focused design” as opposed to “function-focused design”. Most systems are function-focused and they assume that people in the systems will do the desired behaviour, and then optimize for efficiency, usability, and ergometry. Human-focused design on the other hand, remembers that people have feelings, have motivation, have insecurity, have reasons why they do or do not want to do something, and optimize for that.
If you want to motivate the employees within your organization or want to learn more about the framework, this is the workshop for you.

Many of us have this ever-consuming fascination on how innovative companies arrived at that destination and distinction. Experts have their respective opinion and prescription on how to get there. But there is a common thread in all their discourse – culture. It is the key to creating an innovative company and people define corporate culture.
In this workshop using LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® (LSP) method, learn and be inspired from each other with your
own business innovation journey and challenges. How do you overcome barriers to affect a culture of innovation? Let us show you how the LSP method is an effective means to address this burning question.
Be ready to play... serious play.
